Everyone counts. We are on our way to eliminate malaria by 2030 in Asia. When we succeed, it will be remembered as one of the greatest achievements of mankind.
The fight against malaria is a story of people. Mothers who visit health facilities to test and treat their children. Health workers who provide care. Scientists who develop drugs. Government leaders who sets directions and provide funding. The actions of many will make a dream become reality.
To eliminate COVID-19 the same holds true. The actions of Governments, businesses, philanthropists, civil society and ordinary citizens will determine the faith of the world. To end malaria and COVID-19 we need to work together. And we must realize that the actions of everyone counts.
M2030xCOVID19 is a campaign that connects the fight against malaria and COVID-19. It highlights how M2030 partners are contributing their resources, skills and businesses to end both diseases. It will demonstrate how malaria programs in Asia constitute a first-line defence against COVID-19. And it will engage business leaders as champions for change.
